The Jerry Dyhrkopp Iowa Great Lakes Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS) was originally chartered in September 1981 as the Iowa Great Lakes Chapter. Today, we proudly host the annual Antique & Classic Wooden Boat Show in Okoboji, Iowa—an event that brings together passionate boat owners, collectors, and enthusiasts to celebrate the craftsmanship, beauty, and history of vintage watercraft. Held on the last weekend of July, the show offers a unique opportunity to experience these stunning boats up close and connect with a community dedicated to preserving maritime heritage.
